Rhapsody in Rain.....
D: Hey there
E: You alive?
D: Always and forever
E: Sounds like a good way to be... We are having a wicked rainstorm...
D: We had some cool ones on sunday. meant to write about them... lightnin' be cool.
E: I love rainstorms...
D: 13th and Jackson, I need someone to take me home.
E: And the currents are lovely, but it's all going down the drain...
D: Drops of rain fall on the asphalt, rippling in time, skewing the perception, making the solid fluid.
E: Flash back up in crashes
Thunder catches
Fear and wonder running down the spine...
D: Are we finishing each other's thoughts or just trading our own verses?
E: I might be channeling again. I hate it when that happens.
D: An old man that looks like santa but probably smells like blitzen walks across the intersection, seemingly oblivious to the tears falling on his head.
E: But I'm looking at the trees.
The green against the grey
And shining water down on me...
D: Too many hours wasted, too much time gone, too many hearts broken, too many times it was mine.
E: I'm not letting go.
And though the thunder catches
And I'm unprepared for this
I'm here and I'm not letting go.
I hope you know that you can scream
I've heard the words before
I spoke them....
D: Thank you
Thank you from the bottom of a heart that has finally learned. Learned what is important and why
E: Your heart has been there all along.
And now the fading storm comes washing back.
D: They always come back. But it gets easier to find shelter and the shelter gets stronger each storm
E: They always do come back again
And then you watch the rain
D: Growing around you, keeping you safe, shielding you from the maelstrom
E: Until you walk back out again.
Because you have to.
D: The rain falls on our heads and cleanses our souls, soothing our hearts and easing our fears.
E: Hair and clothing plastered to you
D: Sticking like second skin
E: Crossing streets and careful of the danger of the new perception.
D: The streets hold down the soul of the city, a grid keeping it rooted
E: It can't wash away
It can't wash away
It can't wash away....
But I'm not so bound,
And I'm falling....
With the rain...

i dont suffer from insanity i enjoy every minute of it
do not fear your enemies . the worst they can do is kill you . do not fear friends . at worst they may betray you . fear those who do not care ; they neither kill nor betray but betrayal and murder exist because of thier silent consent .
